Aotearoa BDS Network is part of the global campaign of boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel, launched by a coalition of Palestinian civil society organisations in 2005.
Our aims and principles
- We support the Palestinian civil society call for boycott, divestment and sanctions on Israel.
- We recognise Māori as the tangata whenua of Aotearoa and support their right to tino rangatiratanga.
- We recognise that Palestinians are the experts on decolonisation of Palestine, and we will prioritise Palestinian voices.
- We oppose abusive or discriminatory behaviour on the grounds of age, gender identity, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or religion, and will challenge it if it happens within Aotearoa BDS Network.
